Privacy policy

This policy explains how Disruptive Art Production LLC (“Disruptive”, “we”) handles personal information on this website. In short: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply and to prepare for your call, and we never sell it.

Who we are

What we collect

• When you start a project or request a meeting: your name, email, company and the project details you write or record.
• When you book a time: booking happens on Google Calendar’s appointment page inside the pop-up. Google collects the details you enter there and sends the invitation with the Google Meet link. Google’s privacy policy covers that part.
• Your approximate location: the top of the home page shows your city, country and local time. Our host, Vercel, works these out from your IP address when the page loads. They are only shown on your screen, and we don’t store them.
• When you use Record: speech is turned into text by your browser’s built-in speech recognition. Some browsers, Chrome among them, send the audio to their own speech service to do this. We never receive or keep the audio, only the text that ends up in the box, and only if you send it.

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

Services that load on this site

• Vimeo plays our films and previews. We load its player with Vimeo’s “do not track” setting, but Vimeo may still use cookies or similar technology while a film plays, under its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts and Cloudflare’s cdnjs deliver the site’s fonts and animation library, and see your IP address as part of sending those files.
• Vercel hosts the site. Its servers keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

How we use your information

To reply to you, arrange and prepare for meetings, send any proposal you ask for, and keep a record of our conversations. We won’t send you marketing unless you ask for it, and we don’t sell or rent your information.

Who we share it with

Only the people at Disruptive, and trusted contractors, who need it to work on your enquiry; the services above that carry email, calendar and hosting; or authorities, if the law requires it. Everything you send us is treated as confidential.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to answer you and to manage any work that follows. After that we delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and access to what you send is limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so if something is especially sensitive, tell us and we’ll find another way to receive it.

Your rights

Under the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where they apply to you, other laws such as the EU’s GDPR, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@disruptive.ae and we’ll respond promptly.

Children

This site is for businesses and professionals. It isn’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
